Dr. Jeyasekharan Hospital was founded in the Southernmost District of India by the Late Dr. N. D. Jeyasekharan & the Late Mrs. M. Rani Jeyasekharan in 1965.
Dr.Jeyasekharan Medical Trust is an NABH accredited and ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015 Bureau Veritas certified multi-speciality hospital. There are over 60 Medical speciality departments and clinical facilities including 24hr Ambulance, ICUs, Laboratory and Blood Bank services.
In addition to this, the Trust also offers Post-graduate training towards DNB and several degree and diploma courses at The Dr.Jeyasekharan College of Nursing & The College of Allied Health Sciences.

We have a team of highly trained medical professionals, including trauma surgeons, emergency physicians, anesthesiologists, and critical care nurses. The trauma care unit is also equipped with the medical technology and equipment necessary to provide life-saving interventions.
The medical specialty that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of heart-related conditions. It employs a wide range of procedures and technologies, including electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, cardiac catheterization, and angioplasty. Cardiologists provide comprehensive care for patients with heart disease, aiming to improve their quality of life and reduce their risk of cardiac events.
The urology department specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the urinary tract and male reproductive system such as kidney stones, bladder and prostate cancer, urinary tract infections, infertility etc. Surgical or non-surgical interventions, as well as prescribed medication are used to manage these conditions. The department plays a critical role in promoting overall urinary and reproductive health.
The obstetrics and gynecology department is a medical specialty that focuses on the care of women’s reproductive health – including pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care. Our dedicated obstetricians are highly experienced in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions affecting the female reproductive system and manage pregnancy-related complications. The department plays a crucial role in promoting women’s health and wellbeing.
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2022
International Women’s Day 2022 was celebrated on 8th March 2022 at the Auditorium, Dr. Jeyasekharan Hospital & Nursing Home. The theme of the International Women’s Day 2022 is “Gender Equality today for a Sustainable Tomorrow”.
WORLD HEALTH DAY
World Health Day was celebrated in Dr Jeyasekharan Hospital and Nursing Home, by Dr Jeyasekharan College of Nursing and College of Allied Health Sciences on 7th April 2022. The theme for World Health Day 2022 was “Our Planet, Our Health”.
WORLD CANCER DAY SNA REPORT
The SNA meeting started at around 10.30 am in College auditorium. Master of ceremony was Ms.Apsara, III-year B.Sc. Nursing. All III year B.Sc. Nursing students, II year DGNM Students and staff of Dr. Jeyasekharan College of Nursing participated in the event.
