The 24 hour blood bank is headed by Dr.Ranjit Jeyasekharan and Mrs. A. Majini Johnson DMLT, MA, BSc MLT and meets all standard requirements for collection, storage and issuing of whole blood. Fractionated products are currently obtained from Sri Chitra Tirunal Institute Trivandrum and plans to begin component therapy within the hospital itself are in the pipeline.

Tests done in the blood bank include all the standard screening procedure for donors (including HCV) and Direct/ Indirect Coombs Test on demand.
