Emergency Care
The hospital has 24-hour coverage for A&E cases. Emergencies are seen in the OP casualty counter and the casualty area of the MICU, which can be accessed easily from the transport vehicle (for more serious presentations and accident cases).
Several doctors are on call every day (and night) both senior and junior, from the medical and surgical/anaesthesia departments. The RMO's and Consultants of the OG department handle obstetric emergencies and these cases are seen directly in the maternity area/labour room.
