Dr. Jeyasekharan Hospital and Nursing Home Department of Continuing Nursing Education organize Workshops, Conferences, In-service Education for Nurses and Other Health Care Professionals. The goal of the CNE Department is to provide a variety of high quality educational activities both Theory and Practical to promote lifelong learning for professional nurses. Our areas of focus include: Advanced Nursing Practice, Education, Leadership, Good Quality Nursing and Evidence Based Practice.

We combine creative teaching strategies with relevant and current content. These continuing education courses / workshops are conducted with the approval of Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council and provided CNE credit hours for the staff nurses to renew their Licence. CNE Department organized 7 State Workshops and 1 National Conference approved by Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council (TNNMC) in 2014.
