Teachers Day Celebration 2023
Teacher’s day is celebrated every year on September 5th to remember Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan-Second President of India. The great academic philosopher, and one of the most well-known diplomats, scholar, President of India and above all a teacher. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been observed as teacher’s day.
The teacher’s day programme was organized and conducted by Students of Allied Health Sciences on 5th September 2023 at around 12pm in the college auditorium. B.Sc. Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology, B.Sc. Dialysis Technology, B.Sc. Cardiac Technology Students and Teachers of Dr. Jeyasekharan College of Allied Health Sciences participated in the programme.
The Program commenced with Prayer song by the College Choir followed by welcome Address by Ms.Varsha B.Sc. DT II Year. The teachers were welcomed with flowers and gifts. The Correspondent of the college Mrs. BeenaSabu congratulated the teachers and acknowledged the sincere efforts they put in every day and expressed her gratitude to teachers by presenting a small gift. The Course-Coordinator Mrs. Jeyalakshmi gave a valuable speech on the role of teachers in shaping the society and inspired the students by her motivational speech and extended her teachers day greetings to her team.
Students expressed their gratitude and respect towards their teachers on that day.They presented various cultural activities like speech,dance and songs to express their feelings. The students also arranged some fun games for the teachers to entertain them.
The programme was concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Ms. Ariya Krishna OTAT I Year followed by the National Anthem.
