Overview

The department of oncology is an active part of the institution involving both the medical and surgical units under the guidance of Dr.N.Sudhakar,MD.,DM. (Oncology), an experienced oncologist visiting the institution every first Sunday. Dr. Sivaram MS., MRCS.,DNB., MCH (Surgical Oncology), Surgical Oncologist & Laparoscopic Surgeon joined as a consultant in the department. We have good facilities and trained staff for efficient administration of chemotherapy to patients who require it. The department also charts out treatment strategy for all malignancy cases with management issues discussed with surgeons and palliative physician. Patients requiring radiation therapy are referred to CMC Vellore, RCC Trivandrum or ICC Neyyoor.
