On 11th September 2024, Dr . Jeyasekharan Medical Trust College of Allied Health Sciences Internal Complaints Committee organized “Awareness Program on Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) at 10 am in the College Auditorium. The programme was initiated by Mrs. Jeyalakshmi, Vice principal with an introductory speech followed by Advocate Mr. Antus Jerome, MBA, LLB, DPT, DVMS explained about sexual Harassment problems with special reference and laws against sexual harassment.

Other resource persons Mrs. Jamima, Ms.Jesma in their thought-provoking lecture explained about sexual harassment issues and how to overcome with those issues. There was a live discussion during the programme.

Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) convenor explained about the ICC procedures to launch a complaint against any kind of sexual harassment without any hesitation. In this program 350 students of BSc Operation Theatre Anaesthesia Technology, BSc Dialysis Technology, BSc Radiography & Imaging Technology, BSc Cardiac Technology and staffs from various departments were attended.
