October is observed as Breast Cancer Awareness Month across the globe. Breast cancer, one of the most prevalent forms of cancer, is characterized by uncontrolled growth of cells, which results in formation of lumps within the breast. It is one of the treatable forms of cancer. But it can be a life-threatening disease, if not detected early, as it can spread to other parts of the body.
Breast cancer awareness month was observed at Dr.Jeyasekharan Hospital on the following days. 20.10.2021, 22.10.2021, 25.10.2021, 27.10.2021, 29.10.2021.
Mammograms were given at discount rate of Rs.850/- until October 30th.
