On 15 August 2022 (Monday), 75th Independence Day program was held at Dr.Jeyasekharan Hospital and Nursing Home car parking area at around 8:30 am. The program was conducted by Dr. Jeyasekharan Medical Trust College of Allied Health Sciences. The Trustees, Administrators, Course Directors, Doctors, DNB Registrars, Dept Incharges, Nurses, Principal, Vice-principal, Teaching and Non-teaching staffs and students were enthusiastically took part in the program.
The program started with a wishes by Dr. Ranjit Jeyasekharan followed by prayer song & Tamil Thai Vazthu by college choir. Bible reading and prayer were done by Mr. Kingston, RSO, Radiology department. Flag hoisted by Veterans Lt.Col.Vanammal, Mr Sunil, Mr. Selva Kumar, Mr.Deva Dhas. National Pledge read by Lt.Col.Vanammal, Nursing Superintendent followed by Flag song (Thaayin manikodi paareer) sung by college choir.
Independence Day speeches was given by students: Ms. Sulaiha Shifa (CT III Year), Ms. Jenisha (B.Sc N IV Year), Ms. Binsyba (CT III Year).
Prizes were distributed to the staffs and students who won the Independence Day competitions such as Solo song, Elocution (Tamil/ English), Essay writing (Tamil/English), Pencil Drawing, Fancy dress, Creative Rangoli and Solo dance held on 10.08.2022 & 11.08.2022. Prize winners were encouraged with cash prizes and certificates.
Program concluded by 9:30am by wishing all a happy Independence Day.
