National Deworming Day is observed on 10 February annually to spread awareness about the importance of deworming in all preschool and children of school age between 1 to 19 years. The day is an initiative of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India .The theme of National deworming day 2023 is “Making our children completely intestinal worm-free”. 

As part of Deworming day Albendazole tablets were distributed to all students in our college.

The National Deworming Day was conducted by B.Sc (N) II year students on 21- 02-2023 at around 03.00 pm in I Year class room.Mrs Golden Catherine, the SNA Advisor, joined this occasion. Master of ceremony was done by Ms.Abinaya, II-year B.Sc. Nursing.  Ms.Aarthi , Bsc(N) II year welcomed the gathering

National Deworming Day PPT was presented by Ms.Daffiney Vincika, II-year B.Sc. Nursing. In this she explained about the importance of this day.

The programme ended with vote of thanks by Ms.Aswin Vinitha, Bsc(N) II Yr.
