National Deworming Day is observed on 10 February annually to spread awareness about the importance of deworming in all preschool and children of school age between 1 to 19 years. The day is an initiative of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India .
The theme of National deworming day 2024 is “ Eliminate STH: Invest in a healthier future for children.”

As part of Deworming day Albendazole tablets were distributed to all
students in our college.
The National Deworming Day was conducted by Bsc(N) II year students on09- 02-2024
at around 11.00 am in II Year class room.Mrs Golden Catherine,the SNA Advicer, joined this
occasion. Master of ceremony was done by Ms.Vijish Merit, II-year B.Sc. Nursing. Ms.Faithlin Jeni,
Bsc(N) II year welcomed the gathering .National Deworming Day PPT was presented by Mr. Joel Prince and Mr.Beniel Raj, II-year B.Sc.Nursing. In this they explained about the importance of this day .
The programme was ended with vote of thanks by Ms.Jeflin, Bsc(N) II Yr.
