Pongal celebration was organized by Dr.Jeyasekharan College and School of Nursing in our college campus on 11.01.2025. All the boys and girls were dressed in traditional wear. Our students celebrated Pongal by cooking Pongal in Mud pot in the traditional way.

Final year B.Sc Nursing students performed traditional dance. Pongal was prepared by final year B.Sc and DGNM Nursing students. The students participated in musical chair, cane eating, uriadi, tug of war game. Pot painting and rangoli competitions were conducted for the students. Students participated enthusiastically in all the activities planned on the day of Pongal. Students and faculty involved actively in the game. At the end of the celebration, Pongal and sugarcane was served to everyone.
