Pongal celebration was organized by Dr.Jeyasekharan College and School of Nursing in our college campus on 13.01.2024. Students dressed in dhotis’ and sari sportraying our culture. Pongal was cooked in the traditional way in Mud pot.

The events such as cane eating, uriadi, tug of war game were conducted on the day of event. Staff kids participated in musical chair. Pot painting and rangoli competitions were also conducted. Students participated in all the activities with joy .Teaching and non-teaching staff participated in the lucky corner game. At the end of the celebration, Pongal and sugarcane was served to everyone.
