World Asthma Day is held on the first Tuesday in May. The theme of 2026 is Access to anti-inflammatory inhalers for everyone with asthma – still an urgent need” which emphasize in promoting the use of inhaled corticosteroids for effective management.

An awareness teaching program was conducted in the hospital campus to motivate the public on asthma care. The programme was started around 10:30 am Dr. Sujith, General Medicine  given a brief introduction regarding the session.

Health education through PowerPoint presentation was given in General OPD by III Year GNM  students and was supervised by Mrs. Nisha , Nursing Tutor & Mrs. Glory Joy ,Nursing Tutor.
