The world asthma day was remembered on 3rd May every year and it was observed on 4th May 2022 on the Theme ‘Closing Gaps in Asthma Care’ which was aimed to enhance the awareness on asthma among children, adolescent and adult.
An awareness teaching program was conducted in the hospital campus to motivate the public on asthma care. Health education through PowerPoint presentation was given in three areas at different times that includes in front of General OPD, Pediatric OPD and ICU complex waiting area between 10.00 am and 12pm. Health talk was given by III Year B.Sc. Nursing students and was supervised by Mrs. Jasmine Diyana.
