We Dr. Jeyasekharan College of Nursing and Dr.Jeyasekharan Hospital and Nursing Home celebrated the World health day on 07-04-2025 at Dr. Jeyasekharan Medical trust Auditorium.

The World Health Day meeting was started around 12 N in Dr. Jeyasekharan Hospital and Nursing Home Auditorium. The Programme was started by prayer song by college Choir followed by Tamil Thai Valthu. Mrs.Hepzi Harareet.D (Deputy Nursing Superintendent) welcomed the gathering. Presidential address was given by Dr.Ranjit Jeyasekharan, Trustee. Followed by Unveiling the theme by Lt.Col.Mrs.G.Vanammal (Nursing Superintendent). Dr. Sarayu Priya M , Principal Dr. Jeyasekharan College Of Nursing narrated the world health day pledge. Dr. Alber Mathiarasu MD.,PhD (City Health Officer) the Chief Guest delivered the Chief guest address and explained about the significance of world health day and given the vital statistics related to maternal and child health.,the Chief Guest was honoured by Dr.RanjitJeyasekharan with a gift .MCH Care Updates were given by Dr.Maya Gopal DGO, MD, DNB. The Winners of the competition were awarded by Prizes and certificates. Mrs. Vimalmathy T, M.Sc(N)(Professor, Dr.Jeyasekharan College of Nursing), delivered Vote of Thanks.
The Programme was ended at 1:15 pm with National Anthem.
