World Tuberculosis Day is celebrated to raise awareness of the disease, and call for an end to Tuberculosis.

“Yes! We Can End TB: Commit, Invest, Deliver,” emphasizing the need for global commitment, increased funding, and immediate action to end tuberculosis as a public health hazard.

On 29 March 2025 Dr Jeyasekharan College of nursing along with TB department Aasaripallam conducted awareness program based on the theme. Dr. SarayuPriya. Principal Dr. Jeyasekharan College of Nursing welcomed the gathering. Dr. Sheya (Medical Officer, TB cell, Aasaripallam) did PowerPoint presentation on Tuberculosis, the objectives of TB programme, and Management of TB and the session was informative and they updated the students with trends. Quiz programme was conducted for the students and the winners were appreciated. The guest was honored and vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. SarayuPriya Principal Dr. Jeyasekharan College of Nursing.
