Pongal Celebration 2026
Pongal celebration was organized by Dr.Jeyasekharan College and School of Nursing in our college campus on 14.01.2026. All the boys and girls were dressed in traditional wear. Our students celebrated Pongalby cooking Pongal in Mud pot in the traditional way.
Pongal was prepared by final year B.Sc and DGNM Nursing students. The students participated in musical chair and cane eating competitions were conducted for the students.Students participated enthusiastically in all the activities planned on the day ofPongal. Students and faculty involved actively in the game. At the end of the celebration,Pongal and sugarcane was served to everyone.
