REPUBLIC DAY 2022 CELEBRATIONS
On 26th January 2022, Dr.Jeyasekharan Medical Trust celebrated the 73rd Republic day with the staff and students of the organization. The Event was organized and conducted by Dr.Jeyasekharan College and School of Nursing. The management, staff and the students took pride in celebrating the event and paid tribute to the nation.
The programme began at 8.30am. The event was glorious with the presence of our managing Trustee Dr.Devaprasath Jeyasekharan, Trustees Dr.Sabu Jeyasekharan and Dr.Ranjit Jeyasekharan. Our Medical administrator Dr.Renu Devaprasath, General Administrator Mrs. Sujatha Ranjit and our Correspondent Mrs. Beena Sabu participated in the event.
The choir presented the prayer song. The Management, Principal, Staff, students and the gathering were welcomed by Ms.Catherine Jeya., III Year B.Sc Nursing. Mrs.Sathya, HIC Charge read the bible reading followed by prayer from Mrs. Jesline Shaba, Staff Nurse of Dr.Jeyasekharan Hospital and Nursing Home.
The members of honor were the staff working in the COVID ward and they hoisted the national flag followed by National Anthem. Ms.Athira IV year B.Sc Nursing student brought the stage alive with her passion and love of the motherland through her republic day speech. Prizes of the inter college competitions on the occasion of Pongal and Republic Day for both faculty and students were distributed.
The arena reverberated with patriotic favor and enthusiasm by our college choir. Finally vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Abhinaya II Year DGNM.
The students dispersed after sweet distribution with the image of the fluttering tricolor in their mind and heart.
