Republic Day 2026
On 26th January 2026 (Monday) Dr.Jeyasekharan Medical Trust celebrated the 77th Republic day that was held at our hospital car parking area at 08.30 am with the staff and students of the organization. The Event was organized and conducted by Dr.Jeyasekharan College of Nursing. The management, Principal, clinical and college staff and students took part in program with pride in celebrating the event and paid tribute to the nation.
The programme started with a prayer song, Tamil Thai Vazthu by the hospital choir team. Bible reading & prayer done by Mrs Sheeba (HR Dept) and Mr. Jegan (Claim Dept). Mr. Binni Dovasco, Profesor CON welcomed the gathering. National flag was unfurled by our chief guest Dr Satheesh S Vincent followed by Chief Guest address. National Anthem was sung and National Pledge recited by Lt Col G Vannammal.. A patriotic speech was given by Ms. Abi Sherin B.Sc (N) IV year B.Sc Nursing student.
Prizes were distributed to the students and staffs who won the competitions: Just A Minute, Essay Writing (English), Pencil Sketch. Prize winners were encouraged with cash prizes and certificates.
Mrs. Cindiya, Asst Professor CON extended the word of gratitude and the program wound up by 9.15 am
