WORLD KIDNEY DAY RALLY -2023
On 10th March 2023 Dr. Jeyasekharan Hospital and Nursing Home along with Dr. Jeyasekharan Medical Trust College of Allied Health Sciences conducted the Health awareness rally on kidney transplantation with aim of creating Public awareness on Kidney Transplantation and Donation.
The Rally started at District Collector’s office, Nagercoil at 9.30 am. Before starting the rally, a few short and informative health talks were given about the need of kidney transplantation by our Urologists, Dr. Devaprasath Jeyasekharan, Dr. Deepak David and Medical Administrator. Dr. Renu Devaprasath. The Rally was flagged off by Thiru D.N. Harikiran Prasad IPS, Superintendent of Police, Nagercoil and our hospital Doctor followed by his talk. The students of college of Allied Health Sciences and college of Nursing along with their teachers covered the routes from District Collector office to Dr. Jeyasekharan Hospital via Derik junction holding banners and placards with slogans written on them.
Rally ended at Dr. Jeyasekharan Hospital followed by the photo session depicting the shape of the kidney at the front of our hospital at 10.50 am.
Around 250 students and staffs of Dr, Jeyasekharan Medical Trust participated in the rally. Trustees, Administrators and Department Doctors and staffs and students enthusiastically took part in the photo session. The program entered at 10.45 am with refreshments.
