Years of Medical Excellence

It is now 50 years since Jeyasekharan Hospital was started. We thank God for all His mercies and guidance over the years.

In June 1965 Dr. N.D.Jeyasekharan left the Neyyoor Medical Mission after serving it for nearly 8 years. We started a nursing home with bare necessities. Those were difficult times for the Doctor and the nurses. But the confidence and trust of his patients, his very hard work DSC_2663 director_sand his tenacity of purpose along with the good will of friends and relatives helped us through.

INTERNATIONAL NURSES’ DAY 2022

International Nurse’s Day 2022 was celebrated on 12th May 2022 at the Auditorium, Dr. Jeyasekharan Hospital & Nursing Home. The theme of the International Nurse’s Day 2022 is “Nurses-A voice to lead: Invest in nursing and respect rights to secure Global health.”

WORLD RED CROSS DAY-2022

World Red Cross Day is celebrated on May 8th to commemorate the birth anniversary of the founder of the Red Cross and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Henry Dunant. The theme of the World Red Cross Day 2022 is “Be Human Kind”.

WORLD ASTHMA DAY

The world asthma day was remembered on 3rd May every year and it was observed on 4th May 2022 on the Theme ‘Closing Gaps in Asthma Care’ which was aimed to enhance the awareness on asthma among children, adolescent and adult.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2022

International Women’s Day 2022 was celebrated on 8th March 2022 at the Auditorium, Dr. Jeyasekharan Hospital & Nursing Home. The theme of the International Women’s Day 2022 is “Gender Equality today for a Sustainable Tomorrow”.

WORLD HEALTH DAY

World Health Day was celebrated in Dr Jeyasekharan Hospital and Nursing Home, by Dr Jeyasekharan College of Nursing and College of Allied Health Sciences on 7th April 2022. The theme for World Health Day 2022 was “Our Planet, Our Health”.

The SNA meeting started at around 10.30 am in College auditorium. Master of ceremony was Ms.Apsara, III-year B.Sc. Nursing. All III year B.Sc. Nursing students, II year DGNM Students and staff of Dr. Jeyasekharan College of Nursing participated in the event.
