Christmas Day Celebration

The Christmas day celebration started at around 10am in the Nelson auditorium at college campus. All B.Sc and DGNM. Nursing, students and staff of Dr. Jeyasekharan College of Nursing participated in the event.

Master of ceremony was done by Keerthan III Year B.Sc Nursing and Melvin Stuart, I year DGNM student. The event started with Prayer song by college choir. Welcome address was delivered by Ms.Daffney, III Year B.Sc Nursing.
Ms.Jeffiya III Year B.Sc Nursing did the Bible reading.

Felicitation was done by Mrs. Beena Sabu, Correspondent , Dr. Jeyasekharan College of Nursing. A special shadow nativity was played by II Year DGNM students. Skit was conducted by III Year B.Sc Nursing students on modern day Christmas. II Year B.Sc Nursing students performed Christmas ramp walk which was more interesting and caught the attention of all. Candle dance was performed by II Year DGNM .I Year B.Sc Nursing students rocked the stage with group dance and II Semester sang group song. I Year DGNM student inspired the group with Christmas narration. All students participated with full enthusiasm.

Intracollege competitions were conducted for College of Nursing and college of allied health students on 12th of December. Competitions such as Christmas cake making, Miniature manger, art from waste were conducted. Christmas crib was conducted as a competition for each course. The winners of the Christmas day events were announced and the participants were congratulated.
