REPORT ON WORLD LEPROSY DAY
World Leprosy Day was celebrated on 30th January 2024. A special program was organized in collaboration with Director Medical Services (Leprosy), Kanyakumari District at Dr Jeyasekharan College of Nursing on 14th Marchfrom 12.30 am to 1.30 pm.
The theme of World Leprosy Day 2024 is “Beat Leprosy.”The program was started by chief guest introduction by Dr Sarayu Priya Principal, Dr Jeyasekharan College of Nursing. Dr Girija, Deputy director medical services (Leprosy) gave the special address on leprosy. She elaborated on the recent trends and encouraged students in their community participation. The Program ended at 1:30 pm.
