REPUBLIC DAY REPORT 2024
On 26th January 2024(Friday) Dr.Jeyasekharan Medical Trust celebrated the 75th Republic was held at our hospital car parking area at 08.15 am with the staff and students of the organization. The Event was organized and conducted by Dr.Jeyasekharan College of Nursing. The management, staff course-directors, doctors, DNB incharges, students and many well-wishers were invited and took part in program and pride in celebrating the event and paid tribute to the nation.
The programme started with a prayer song, Tamil Thai Vazthu by the choir team and followed by bible reading & prayer by Sr.Subila and Sr. Gladys Shyla. Mrs. Acasha Nursing Tutor CON welcomed the gatherings. National flag was hoisted by our chief guest Brigadier Mr Arumyraj followed by National Anthem and National Pledge by Lt Col G Vannammal PGDHM; NS were taken by the gatherings. A short introduction about our chief guest was given by our principal Dr. Sarayu Priya followed by Chief Guest address. A patriotic speech was given by Ms. Daffiney Vincika B.Sc (N) III year.
Prizes were distributed to the students and staffs who won the competitions held on 10.01.2024: Speech (Tamil or English), Essay Writing (English), Quiz (about Indian Politics), and Collage making (by theme) for both staff and students. Prize winners were encouraged with cash prizes and certificates.
Mrs. Ashiba Dollin Nursing Tutor SON extended the word of gratitude and the program wound up by 05.15 am by wishing happy Republic day
I thank god almighty for his blessings for successfully oraganized and thank all the organizers, co-workers and inchargers who worked hard for the success of this Republic Day Program.
