SNA Activity Remembered On 6th May
World Asthma Day is held on the first Tuesday in May. The theme of 2025 is“Make Inhaled Treatments Accessible for ALL”.This emphasizes the need to ensure that people with asthma can access inhaled medications that are essential both for controlling the underlying disease and treating attacks.
An awareness teaching program was conducted in the hospital campus to motivate the public on asthma care. The programme was started around 10 am. Dr. Joseph Pradeepan, a Pulmonologist, gave a brief introduction regarding the session.
Health education through a PowerPoint presentation was given in the General OPD by the II Year DGNM. Students were supervised by Mrs. Arul Sheeha A., Nursing Tutor &Mrs.Nisha, Nursing Tutor

The people who have attended the programme were attentive during the session. Subsequently, a Vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Alin Reshmia, DGNM II Yr., and the programme came to an end around 11:40 am.
