WORLD RED CROSS DAY-2022
World Red Cross Day is celebrated on May 8th to commemorate the birth anniversary of the founder of the Red Cross and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Henry Dunant. The theme of the World Red Cross Day 2022 is “Be Human Kind”.
The Youth Red Cross unit of Dr.Jeyasekharan college of nursing organised a programme to celebrate World Red Cross Day on May 8 2021. The programme began with the prayer song rendered by BSc Nursing IV year students. Ms.Sobert Jersha of BSc Nursing IV year welcomed the gathering, Ms.Nithya of BSc Nursing IV year gave a presentation regarding Red Cross functions, roles and responsibilities of thestudents. Dr.Golden Catherine, Associate Professor, gave the keynote address.
The event was concluded with the vote-of-thanks given by Ms.Nithya, IV year BSc Nursing.
