Cashless involves two steps: Preauthorisation and Approval of final bill
At the time of admission, patient has to produce their Insurance card and Aadhar card to the claims department. Also they have to submit any other forms or cards as demanded by insurance companies.
Claims personnel send their preauth request forms to the respective Insurance companies and wait for their approval. This process may take two hours.
At the time of discharge, claims department sends the final bill to the TPA / Insurance Company for approval along with the necessary reports. This process may take three to four hours. Once the amount is approved, patient is discharged.

It is our endeavour to follow up with the TPA / Insurance Company and get the amount sanctioned for the patients as early as possible by answering all their queries and providing the documents when asked for.
But denial and approval is at the sole discretion of the insurance company based on policy terms and conditions and the hospital is not to be held responsible.
